I offer counselling for Individuals, Couples and Young People (11yrs+). I am based in Hertfordshire for Face to face appointments but also work via Video Call (Zoom or Teams)
Life can be tricky at times and it can help to have some support to talk through your emotions. I offer this opportunity in a warm and open way without judgement for people to be able to explore themselves.
I have particular interest in working with adults with mental health conditions such as Personality Disorders as well as relationship issues, low mood, anxiety, and self-esteem.
I have been qualified for over twelve years and currently work with my private practice offering counselling for Individual (11yrs+ and adults), Couples, and Families as well as working for Relate as a Lead Clinical Supervisor and Safeguarding Lead for Region 1 (numerous centres across the UK
I am qualified to work with Adoption cases, birth of adoptions families for couunselling or supervision.
My core counselling training is based on the Person Centred model. I have also trained with the Institute for Family Therapy in Advanced Systemic Practice for Couples and Families enabling me to develop skills to use Systemic and Psychodynamic models of therapy within Relate. I have worked with clients on time limited agreements of 6/8 weeks and open-ended counselling. I have a wide range of presenting issues including common mental health condition such as depression and anxiety and also grief, relationships, personality disorders and trauma.

Adoption Counselling and Supervision: I am qualified to work with Adoption and SGO cases for both the adopted and birth familes. Currently Ofstead registered via Hertfordshire County Council Adoption Services Team.

Professional Lawyers Supervision: I offer supervision for Lawyers, particularly those working in Family Law. I am a registered member of the Family Law Supervisors https://www.familylawsupervisors.co.uk/ . I can offer this via telephone, zoom, teams or face to face in Hertfordshire and London

OpenUp Counselling and CPD: Providing placement opportunities for counsellors, qualified and in training to gain experience working in school settings with children and young people, together with supervision and CPD.
